FEBRUARY COMMUNION SERVICE REPORT.
FEBRUARY COMMUNION SERVICE REPORT.
This was the first communion service in the year 2012 - The year of the word of God; the brethren expressed great expectations as they gathered in one accord in different locations all around the world for the monthly communion service. Many were connected to the same service via Internet, Satellite and terrestrial stations .The service started with the brethren singing songs of worship and praise with hearts of thanksgiving to the Lord. Followed shortly, was a session of prayer, to stir up their hearts and prepare them to receive the Rhema word that will position them for a glorious month.
THE PASTOR CHRIS LIVE QUESTION AND ANSWER SEGMENT
During this segment, the man of God answered questions that came in from several people around the world. This highly enlightening session was transmitted to the entire world via Internet, Satellite and terrestrial stations. Many received answers to their questions.
THE WIKISOZO SEGMENT
The man of God along side with Pastor Joy Amenkhienan highlighted the impact of the Wikisozo site, and encouraged the brethren to upload their salvation story to the site. Pastor Chris announced that over 3,000 people had given their lives to Christ just by reading the salvation stories of others and shared testimonies of how the site has changed lives all around the world. THE COMMUNION
The man of God ushered the people into a time of communion; making reference to the book of 1st Corinthians 11:23-26, he explained that the Lord Jesus on the night he was betrayed broke bread with his disciples and commanded them to always do the same in remembrance of Him. Pastor Chris further explained that we partake of the communion today because we were instructed to do so by the Lord Jesus. Having said that, he asked the people to proceed and take the bread which the man of God said symbolized the body of the Lord Jesus that was broken for us. Everyone’s expectation was heightened as Pastor Chris specifically declared that the anointing was present in the communion and every sickness will be wiped away as the communion was being taken.
FEBRUARY - THE OVERCOMERS’ MONTH
The man of God Pastor Chris began this segment by reading from the book of Revelation 2:7, he said that the Lord Jesus has special blessings for those that overcame. He further explained that the Master has given us legal power to subdue all forces in His name, but there is a legal victory as well as a vital victory. The legal victory is that which Jesus overcame the Devil for us, and has given us the victory. The vital victory is living that victory through the Holy Spirit in our daily lives. Pastor Chris further admonished the people that there is a good fight set for every Christian to fight; the Christian is engaged in a fight of faith. He concluded this thought by saying “we will always fight this fight until the devil is completely subdued”.
Pastor Chris further explained that as Christians we are engaged in a fight of faith in order to expunge the works of the devil in the lives of men. The man of God explained what the bible refers to as an evil day. He said that many Christians don’t prepare for the evil day as the bible has instructed us to by putting on the whole armour of God. He further explained that the evil day is when the forces of darkness come against you where you might find yourself struggling with your Faith, and Joy, even at such times; you have to be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.
The man of God concluded by announcing the word for the month, and admonished that this month is the Overcomers month; ‘it’s a time that we would overcome in our minds, bodies and our spirit through the word of God and our confession’ the man of God declared`.
