DECEMBER 31ST NEW YEAR'S EVE SERVICE WITH PASTOR CHRIS
Ushering God's People Into The Glorious Year Of The Word!
Expectations were very high, and rightly so. It was just a few hours to 2012, and the New Year's Eve service with Pastor Chris had commenced. It was no ordinary service, but a one-of-a-kind prophetic meeting designed by the Lord to usher His people into the New Year in a blaze of glory. Recognizing the significance of this great meeting for the days, weeks and months to come, people fasted and prayed in advance, preparing their hearts for the singular and most crucial moment when the Prophet of God, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, would forth-tell God's Word for the year.
“It's been exactly one year since that glorious night when we were brought into 2011, Our Year As A Burning And A Shining Light. Like Pastor Chris instructed, I didn't wait to find out what the New Year would bring me; rather, I dictated to it based on the prophetic direction I had received for the year. I'm excited now because the time has come again for me to receive that rhema-Word from God that would propel me on a journey of success throughout 2012,” said a participant at the LoveWorld Convocation Arena, venue of the event.
...Live To A Global Audience
But the excitement wasn't only at the venue; it was replicated at different viewing centers in every continent of the world! From the USA to New Zealand, South Africa and South Korea, millions of viewers across every time zone in over 150 countries participated live via the internet, satellite and terrestrial television.
The watch night service was aired on 3 satellite stations: LoveWorld SAT, LoveWorld Plus, LoveWorld TV, and online on several websites. It was also broadcast live on many radio stations around the world.
A Special Time Of Thanksgiving
The man of God started on a thanksgiving note, giving thanks to the Lord for all the great wonders done in and through the ministry in the year 2011. During the special thanksgiving, which he had alongside some senior pastors in the ministry, Pastor Chris said: “We're having this thanksgiving because the Lord has been good to us. When we think about all the wonderful things God has done in our lives, and through us in the lives of many others, we're awed that the Lord would use us so. We're touched that He would do so much with our lives and change the lives of other people.”
The Year Of The WORD OF GOD!
The much-awaited moment came when the man of God announced the direction of the Spirit for 2012. All over the world, the response was the same and spontaneous: joyful screaming and shouting rent the air as Pastor Chris proclaimed 2012 to be “The Year Of The Word Of God!”
The Word Is Dependable
To help the congregation understand the direction for the year, he read from the book of Acts 20:32, where the Apostle Paul commended the brethren to the Word, which is able to build them up, and give them an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.
For God to have commended or “delivered us into the hands” of His Word, means the Word is dependable. So the Lord is saying to us, “Cheer up!” No matter where you've been or what's been happening to you, cheer up because His Word is dependable.
The Glory Of The Word
John 1:14 says that the same dependable Word of God that Paul talked about, became flesh, dwelt amongst us, and we beheld His glory. That means the Word has glory. Glory is splendour, brightness, beauty, purity, and holiness; the Word of God has all these and much more. The Word is a person; that's why the Bible says, “…we beheld His glory,” because He's a person; He is glory-personified.
“Can you perceive this glory?” the man of God asked the teeming congregation. Reading from 2 Corinthians 3:18, he taught them how, saying: “We see the glory of God by beholding the mirror of God, which is the Word of God. As we look at the glory of God in the mirror by meditation, we're changed into the glory that we see in the mirror.”
A Different Experience
With The Word in 2012
Pastor Chris uttered prophetic words by the Spirit, and mentioned 4 noteworthy things about our experience with the Word of God in 2012. He said:
In 2012, you'll experience the dominion of the Word of God as a Person, and the Word will be manifested unto you, in you, and through you.
The Word of God is taking centre stage; you'll find yourself operating and manifesting the Word of God like never before.
“Why is this going to happen differently?” the man of God asked. “It's because you've grown to a position; now you've been weaned sayeth the Lord. You've been removed from the breast as it were, which means you can now eat on your own…. The Church of Jesus Christ is gradually coming to a place of maturity, because the coming of the Lord is nearer than before.”
HULLO, PRAISE GOD FOREVEVER MORE, THE NEWS MASSEGE REALLY INSIPIRED ME AM MOVING FRO GLORY TO GLORY, IN EVERY THING AM DOING, THE WORD OF GOD IS GUIDING ME IN THE PATH OF RIGHTIOUSNESS. NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE TO ME NOW,THE WORLD IS MANFESTED IN ME AND THRU ME.I GIVE THANKX TO OUR MAN OF GOD PASTOR CHRIS FOR WORK OF GOD HE HAD MINISTERED TO US, GOD BLESS YOU PASTOR NOW AND FOREVER MORE.
