February “The Month Of Songs”

Thunderous shouts of rejoicing, met the declaration of February to be the Month of Songs by the man of God, Pastor Chris at the just concluded Global Service. God’s people received the Word with faith and gladness of heart, ready to walk in the light of the Word, throughout the month and beyond. 

Reading from the following  scriptures,

Ephesians 5:19  “Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;”

Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”

Isaiah 35:10 “And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.”

Psalm 67:1-7 “God be merciful unto us, and bless us, and cause his face to shine upon us; Selah. That thy way may be known upon earth, thy saving health among all nations. Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee. O let the nations be glad and sing for joy: for thou shalt judge the people righteously, and govern the nations upon earth. Selah. Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee. Then shall the earth yield her increase; and God, even our own God, shall bless us. God shall bless us, and all the ends of the earth shall fear him.”

Pastor Chris opened the understanding of God’s people to the Word given. He urged God’s people to meditate on the scriptures he read to enable them appropriate the Word of the Month to their lives daily all through February and beyond. What a glorious month of miraculous experiences is February going to be as God’s people sing new songs of the Spirit, hymns and psalms, making melody in their hearts to God!
