YOU’RE THE EXPRESSION OF THE BLESSING
And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing (Genesis 12:2).
Galatians 3:29 says, “And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.” The blessing of God is not only something you have; it’s who you are. God didn’t just say to Abraham, “I will bless you”; He also said, “You shall be a blessing.”
That means Abraham became the embodiment of the blessing, and as the seed of Abraham, you’re also the embodiment of the blessing. In Christ, you’re the fulfilment of God’s promise to Abraham. You’re not seeking the blessing. You’re the carrier of it.
The blessing isn’t mere material possessions; it’s a spiritual force. It empowers everything you touch to prosper. It makes you fruitful, productive and influential. Even your presence in a place causes divine results to manifest. Joseph was an inspiring example of this truth. Though sold as a slave, the Bible says, “…the LORD was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man…” (Genesis 39:2). Why?
It’s because the blessing was on him. Everything around him responded to that blessing such that even while in prison, he was a person of influence. Right from inside that prison, he rose to become the Prime Minister of Egypt. This is your reality too.
You’re the seed of Abraham, called to be a blessing to your world. You’re not ordinary. The forces of heaven are at work in and through you. Be conscious of this truth. Declare it daily; walk in it. Let it reflect in your words, actions and expectations. You’re the expression of the blessing!
CONFESSION
I’m the seed of Abraham. I’m an heir of God and a joint heir with Christ. I’m blessed and I am a blessing. The power of the blessing is working in and through me. Everywhere I go, I bring favour, increase and divine influence. I am the expression of God’s goodness in the earth. Hallelujah!
