Food Drive Seeks To Alleviate The Plight Of Indigent Families In Abakaliki

InnerCity Mission partners from Christ Embassy Abakaliki 1 joyfully donate grocery items during Food Drive campaign.

As part of efforts to reduce hunger in the 13 local government areas of Ebonyi State, South-East Nigeria, Christ Embassy Abakaliki1 organised a special Food Drive, where food items were donated to support indigent families. This laudable event, which took place on September 29th, at the LoveWorld Complex, Abakaliki, aims to increase access to food, thereby addressing hunger sustainably.

Members of Christ Embassy Abakaliki 1 excitedly graced the event, bringing numerous food supplies such as tubers of yam, palm oil, bags of rice, among others. Everyone came with something to give. Receiving the food items, esteemed Pastor Eunice Oyeyemi, Pastor of CE Abakaliki 1, expressed her profound gratitude to the man of God, Reverend (Dr.) Chris Oyakhilome, for establishing the InnerCity Mission to meet the needs of the poor and needy all over the world. She also thanked the partners for their benevolence and response to the call to put a smile on the faces of the forgotten people in society.

Everyone came with something to give including the children.
