Trauma Care International Foundation joins others at United Nations high-level meeting on Universal Health Coverage.
The Trauma Care International Foundation was present at the United Nations’ high-level meeting to deliberate on Universal Health Coverage, which took place yesterday, September 23rd, at the United Nations Headquarters in New York, United States. TCIF was represented by her Senior Executive Officer, Dr. Olajumoke Akisanya.

The event was designed as a platform to discuss the underlying barriers that most nations face in accelerating Universal Health Coverage (UHC). Interactive dialogues on the role of UHC in sustainable development, poverty reduction and reducing social inequalities were also promoted among its participants.

In 2018, the Trauma Care International Foundation earned the Guinness World Records title as the single organization to sign-up the most people to donate blood within an 8-hour period during the World Blood Donor Day program.
